I think every Labour MP who does corporate lobbying is only really in parliament as a precursor to their real career, getting Tony Blair rich from toadying for various despots, criminals and abusers.

Corporate lobbying is the current m.o. of the Labour party. They’d simply cease to exist if this most lucrative of grifts was tightly regulated.

It was pretty stressful at the time opening up an unexpected bailiffs letter over Saturday am breakfast, saying that unless we paid the mortgage back in total by Monday we’d face court action. Luckily my better half is an admin paper trail wiz, so our arses were covered unlike theirs. :)
