it was playing around with its food and (maybe accidentally) let go! it managed to catch it in the next fframe, but this is a better shot.

I bought water base tincture for the bird house. It's grey.

A good amount of snow fell during the night.

While walking in my backyard, I noticed holes at the base of a healthy Fir tree. By the dept of the holes maybe it was made by a Pilated woodpecker.
