Benefit set for family of Woodward High School teen killed in shoe robbery “They’re great people. Joaquin, he was a great kid. A tragedy, unnecessary tragedy happened, and we’re just going to try to do whatever we can do to help the family as much as we possibly can,” Jeff Jones the owner of Whiskey Red Saloon said.

A fundraiser to support the family of Joaquin Simmons runs from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
