I pretty much agree with you, Musk and Trump are going to do nothing but harm to the aviation industry in the US. I just don't think Trump came into office and instantly everything went to shit. I don't think there's any causation between him taking office and these accidents.

Do you think people came to work January 6th just being like "nah screw this idc anymore"? I'm not saying the new admin is contributing anything positive, but nothing they've done has just instantly made flying less safe than it was before.

Yeah, ATC understaffing being the most obvious one. There have been several near misses in the last years. General norms, like handing separation over to the pilots, widespread use of visual approaches even in very busy airpace, stuff you just don't see in other parts of the world.

They are the victims of an already broken system coming to a head with one unfortunate circumstance too many.

Yes I am well aware of that, but this has been a MAJOR issue LONG before the current administration took office. The stuff they're trying to do to the aviation system in the US is really just stupid and people will sadly have to pay dearly for their incompetence. But these poor people did not.

In no way are the recent accidents and incidents caused by the new administration. It's a bit unnerving seeing the "good" side starting to sound exactly like the bad side. Spreading conspiracies and fearmongering.

I mostly agree with your sentiment but these accidents have not been caused by the new administration. They are however taking steps in the completely wrong direction as far as aviation safety is concerned.

Jag tycker det är viktigare att språket används korrekt. Om en handling inte uppfyller kriterierna för terrorism så ska den inte heller refereras till som det, oavsett hur fruktansvärd handlingen är.

Yeah this is a major problem and definitely NOT the right direction to move in right now. I think this will become tragically evident sooner or later...

It's insane that a billionaire can be allowed to literally buy his way into the white house. He has hijacked a social network to allow his spewing of misinformation and propaganda. Now he's trying to divide Europe as well. It's disgusting and horrifying.

Integrity and professionalism is entirely lost in the current administration. And I believe innocent people will have to pay dearly for their incompetence and egos.

These accidents and incidents are not a result of the new administration. What's concerning is seeing the damn president stand in the media, airing his own unfounded theories and blaming it on others, rather than letting the investigation run its course.
