Happy anniversary Xenogears 💗 one of my favorite games of all time. I'm so thankful to have met other friends who want to cosplay from it with me too. So many characters to choose from and adore ;-;

This is mocha. She is a stray I’m trying to domesticate. Right now she only comes in at night. She may look cuddly, but in the daytime she becomes a kitty warrior, lord of the backyard domain.

I participated in an Artist Task Master panel at Ushicon and my first task was to make an anime scene with clay I was given, enjoy

Not sure if that information is comforting, but I guess it’s nice to know. I just got bad RNG, couldn’t have done differently.

All in all, it’s pretty bad, but it could have been a lot worse for sure. So I’m gonna stay positive, and keep hoping.

I’ve already met with doctors to talk about the next step in treatment after chemo, but hopefully that’s not for a long time.
Genetic tests showed I have a gene mutation which helps to explain how I developed it so randomly and so fast, and at a younger age than usual.

The doctors can’t give me a solid outlook on the future, but I should have a pretty good prognosis as long as I’m in chemo. I’m doing what I can (ice mitts, etc) to reduce the neuropathic damage from chemo so I can stay on as long as possible.

My goal right now is to regrow bone & muscle mass. That means mild exercise, as much as I can do without it getting too painful. And lots of healthy food.

The chemo has been pretty effective on cancer in my breast tissue and bones. Unfortunately, the nerve damage done might be irreversible. It causes this radiating kind of pain that gets worse with activity.
It’s manageable with pain meds, but I’m stuck in bed most of the time.

I do have small tumors on the scalp though, it’s really annoying. At this point, surgical removal would only put me at risk. So I’m just gonna be lumpy I guess lol

Little update on my situation.
My liver is doing well. That was the scariest thing so far. It still has some cancer, but it’s getting better.
No cancer in the brain, heart, or lungs. I get scans every 3 months.
Chemo isn’t making me nearly as sick as before. I just get sleepy.

Every thread and post I see about this is clowning that somehow Microsoft made an even more proprietary pain in the ass pen than Apple 🤦‍♀️

Some incompatibility issue on the new model, idk. So I got a new pen for it and it draws smooth, but it’s not surface charging. Idk why, it’s supposed to be a feature on this model.
I tried to get a charger dock for the pen (it doesn’t have any way to cable charge)

I finally got a surface pro to replace my old tablet since I’m kinda bedridden atm and I need to get back into digital work. It was a very good price, and came with some accessories too. But not a pen.
BFF steff sent me a nice pen, but it made image programs jitter

They may try a few different approaches to see if they can get around the liver issue, since that’s the main barrier right now.
Other than that, I just feel moderately sick and out of it, as you’d expect.

Update on my health situation!
TW: cancer
The main hurdle is there is some cancer in my liver. Chemo can cause liver damage, so they can’t give me chemo as aggressively as they’d like to.
But I have started, and I have chemo once every week, 3 out of 4 weeks
