The United States has recorded its highest annual measles cases in 33 years. The milestone marks a public health reversal in defeating a highly contagious, vaccine-preventable disease as the anti-vaccine movement gains strength.

Patients are generally positive about changing how they are cared for long term but models will need to be mixed methods if they are to be inclusive

Just as important though is that consistently 20%+ don’t want care to involve decentralised techniques

3)48% are already monitoring their own health regularly in community (1/3 using apps)

Few things to chew about modes of care first- I expect they are common across most rare diseases.

1) patient travel hundreds of km for hours, usual in their own car to get to appointments. 45% leave feeling the consultation does not reflect how they feel
