Hello, fellow bread machine pizza dough maker! I keep singing the praises of my bread machine at making pizza dough, largely because I cannot be bothered to be involved with it beyond "dump ingredients into pan, and let the machine do the rest of the work for me."

I thought Twilight was pretty bad when it was released, but I read it like three times because *damn* if Smeyer didn't absolutely NAIL that hopeless, unrequited love feeling I had as a teenager in high school who was too terrified to even say "Hi" to my crush a single time before he graduated.

Okay, so hear me out on this one: Michelle West started publishing a fantasy series in the late 1990s, the Essalieyan series. It is currently, as of just a few days ago, 24 works and counting (novels, novellas, and short stories). Fully featured world, huge cast, and pretty decent prose.

This game absolutely blew my socks off. I have been singing its praises to anyone that will listen to me and that likes RPGs. Instant favorite.

I loved Veilguard, and I think it was a great game. It was a great Dragon Age game. I played the heck out of it, I'm in the middle of a second run, and I know I'll be back again.

Whatever. I enjoyed the HECK out of Veilguard and I’ll fucking do it again, too. Haters can die mad about it.

It's especially infuriating to see other, well-reviewed, well-received games *with the exact same themes* that the culture war tourists excoriated Veilguard for, but those games aren't getting a single peep of criticism. Because they don't have THAT character.

I also was a little skeptical about the zeolite thing, but apparently it really does work! I’ve been really impressed with our dishwasher that has it.

But, and I cannot over-emphasize this point, this game brought me to tears at least a half-dozen times with the story. I'm still obsessed with it.

If you love narrative, story-driven RPGs with a focus on companions, do not miss this game. Yes, it's a turn-based JRPG. There are ways to make the combat easier (PM me).

I’m not in love with the other Riddick entries, but Pitch Black is fantastic. I loved it.

The ONE thing I wanted from Veilguard was for the game to lean into the dark fantasy/horror beginnings of the series, and I got it in spades. I LOVED Veilguard, and I hung on every word you had before release. You and your team were fantastic. Fuck the haters in their ears.

I had a conversation with Marius about a skeleton in a chair, then I found a skeleton in a chair, and now I am deeply suspicious of skeletons in chairs.

I love that surgical recovery suits have taken their rightful place next to the cones. When they can be used instead of a cone, it's so much easier on the recovering animal!

Exactly. I might be old-fashioned uptight English, but I can't actually believe that the world needs to hear constant noise about how emotional I, a privileged white person who hasn't experienced crisis x or y, feel about seeing x or y.
