Magical Purple Dice

Does anyone’s cat do this?

Last year we renovated our bathroom and put in tile for the shower so there is a faint echo. EVER since we did, the cat goes into the bathroom and meows. Not because anything is wrong, it’s like he enjoys the echo or just wants my attention

Life Update:

Hoping for a fix- or be scheduled for surgery- for my knee on Wednesday 🤞
In the 3 months post-injury and I can’t walk well, can’t put weight on it, can’t bend/straighten it, and can’t sleep due to constant stabbing pain but MRI didn’t see anything so must not be hurt 🤬

Giveaway dice is polished and inked, just need to get some nice photos…

I found a pair of over ear ones that don’t squeeze my head, more just sit around my ears- more like a headband.

I wish I could use something like Loops but every time I try them I start hearing my pulse in my head or feel like I’m underwater cuz of how noise sounds

Micro orchid plant with damaged bottom leaves. Two new leaves are blooming as it heals

This micro orchid has been through hell- sunburned leaves and root rot. There were many time I was convinced it was going to die. But last week I saw new baby leaves blooming and strong new roots that reach for the water.

I will strive to be like this orchid- resilient.

My largest orchid plant. Each flower is about the size of a softball when fully opened

You peeps really like the orchid post- so let’s show off another one…

This is my biggest boi! Every bloom he does is massive- softball size! And his spikes are way thicker than any of my other plants.

He’s also a space hog so usually gets a window sill all to himself

Just counted- 16 of 17 plants have flowers on them or are in the process of budding and each plant has at least 6 flowers on it- a few have over a dozen!
Number 17 is recovering because his leaves got burned through the window last summer so no blooms for him for a while

Cough cough- hit my DMs, I can send some… I got over a dozen sneks 😜

Purple spotted orchid- flowers are about size of golf ball. Currently, it is my favorite plant because the pattern is gorgeous!

Yellow orchid with pink spots. Flowers are about the size of a tennis ball

Pink orchid with a yellow-fushia spotted pattern on the lower petals. Flowers are goofy and are about the size of a squished dinner roll.

I love my orchids! I have 17 of them in various colors and sizes (see ALT text for specific sizes)

The best part is that at least 3 of them ALWAYS have flowers and each bloom at least 2x a year.

Even when the world is burning down, I can at least have pretty flowers

A few days ago someone said something to the effect of "it's time to monkeywrench" (which is exactly right to get).... And I'm looking at a lot of people and I'm realizing.... Folks truly do not see it.
