I hate when I say I have a podcast. Anyway, listen to Asteria's Convos I'm tryna make the world a better place.

A nice thing to do: if someone reaches out to you and asks for support but you can't meet their need in that way, offer an alt that does feel accessible to you. Ex. they want a hang out and you can't physically do that, but you can do a phone call. At least recognize and validate the connection bid.

Why are we so afraid to tell other people stuff? Like why is it rude of me to be standing right next to a conversation and they're asking questions about something I know the answer to so I tell them? Why's it eavesdropping? You're right next to me, you're wondering things & I know stuff.

Anyway, I had ten dollars in my pocket that's been hanging out with me for two weeks... and I tucked it under his pack of wheat bagels as I walked by this morning. Easy peasy.

This morning I walked by a man sleeping on a discarded mattress. I had seen him last night & we had a friendly interaction. I try to always remember that previously homeless people say that the invisiblization is one of the worst parts. People walking by you and completely ignoring your existence...

I don't normally post about good deeds I do, bcuz I think they should be done as a matter of choosing kindness always. But I'm hearing some people need ideas for how they can help within their own means so I'm going to start telling the stories.
