It was one year we were friends.
The first time, you left.
And this last time, I took control.
After it all, your art still stares at me.
Posters from long times gone.
Laugh at my foolishness now.
Sometimes, I forget your impact on me.
While at others, it's all I can think about.
You brought me to my passion and shut me out of my home.
The memories faded but our dreams haven't.
I stare at each picture to remember, forgetting all we've ever felt.
