Due to a recent accident I can't attend in person. But I invite you all to celebrate with me virtually. I'm proud of all that's been achieved achieved the supportive communities I've been able to build and support, but there much more to be done. This is just the beginning!

This is a first for the #fnd community, marking a huge milestone in raising national recognition for FND and those living with hidden / dynamic disabilities. It's a victory for visibility and inclusion.

I've been nominated for the Scope Awards for my work championing disability equality! What an honour! This nomination reflects my collective efforts including my role @fnddimensions.bsky.social my PhD, TEDx, lecturing, research and consultancy

These aren’t rare cases.

FND is common.
Misunderstanding is too.

We need more than awareness.

We need care that listens, systems that catch people, and science that walks alongside the patient's voice and story.

“They said it was ‘just functional.’ As if that meant I should be grateful.”

FND is still dismissed.

If you work in healthcare, psychology, or policy — please listen. These voices matter.

“They told me I was faking it. I started to believe them.”

When medicine can’t explain you, it often abandons you.

These words aren’t from the past. I’ve heard them this year.

I’m a neuropsychologist who works with people living with FND.

I was told recently that no one in the UK with #FND falls through the cracks anymore.

But the stories I hear tell a different truth.

I’m amplifying voices.
