Though you never see them - I am in on The Krell - the alien race in Forbidden Planet - they destroyed themselves with a machine they created - a machine that would create whatever they thought, but were tragically unaware that it would also tap into the ID of their sub conscience.

That does bring back some great memories.

Really good movie.

The 1960 Time Machine with Rod Taylor and the reason as a youngster why I've seen that version of that story too many times is because of the beautiful Yvette Mimieux of the Eloi.

But for me I believe 12 Monkeys might be the best of them all for that story line type in sci fi.
