Once a month, I run a tech leadership study group, a collaborative brainstorming session to help us all build better leadership skills.

I've been able to apply what I learned almost instantly after the last two sessions we ran.

People who’ve been in tech for 10+ years, how do you avoid becoming jaded?

I think this being open source is a cop out when you have projects like ethical source that’s created a whole new stance on how to build open source that reduces harm.

That’s why I keep saying, yes it takes time to build software but if you work with people who’s been building to reduce harm for years, you’ll have a stronger foundation to build on.

I did a thing today, to cover any imaginary gaps I think might be in my programming knowledge, used chatGPT to set up a course of things I should study, then asked it for study guides, this took me all of 2 minutes.

So today is kinda fun working on my personal, site I added typescript and jest smoothly and am refactoring atm.

Has anyone tested out tRPC yet? if so how is it?
