The 2025 David Carr Award for Truth in Non-Fiction Filmmaking is awarded to Mark Oberhaus and Laura Poitras for their film COVER-UP.
The full 2025 Montclair Film Festival program, including the 2025 Competition Films, will be announced on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Festival Awards include Filmmaker Tribute to Spike Lee, Visionary Award to Pamela Abdy, Screenwriter Award to Will Tracy, Composer Award to Nicholas Britell, and Breakthrough Director Award to Shih-Ching Tsou.
