ITS BEEN 16 YEARS.

I got up to go to the bathroom. And that’s how long it took Simon to snatch my Apple Pencil off of the charger on my iPad and haul it away to try and eat the pencil grip. It is his most forbidden snack.

I miss them lmao.

I’m going to the symphony tonight to see Holst’s the planets and I’m rly excited bc it’s been sold out for awhile and it took a bit but I have an in and snagged a ticket!

Ugh Simon definitely has another sinus infection bc his breath keeps getting more and more rank by the day.

While I greatly enjoyed the thaw we’ve just had, I’m grateful for the snow because it muffles the loud af road traffic from the highway behind my house to the point I barely notice it.

What do they put in these things bc this man sniffs them out no matter where I hide it. He wants it more than cat treats.

But next time may not be so lucky. Luckily the OTHER times he’s eaten them, he has chewed them thoroughly enough they didn’t cause a blockage. But this is PICA shit he pulls is why we needed the damn surgery in the first place.

My Apple Pencil is never safe from Simon because the little rubber grippy thing is a siren call to him it is a forbidden snack that he must have. I had to cut a seam in mine so I can use the magnetic charging of the new pencil and Simon just grabbed my gripper and RAN with it. I’ve rescued it.

She TOTALLY called me out on stage and then there were cameras in my face and so naturally I hid behind the towel. I had a sign that says it’s my birthday can I have a guitar pick but what I got was much better so.

Oh yeah. She gave it to me for my birthday.

I have Kesha’s sweaty boob towel hanging above my bed. It keeps me safe.

But anyway. Expect pictures of the most adorable dog in the world all weekend.

That part is a bummer. I just can’t risk making her wound worse with movement. But the weather is so nice gahh. We’ll have to have some patio time with her and the kits. Bobbi got a good roll in the dust today. Why do cats love dust bath so much?

Due to issues that came up in Kes’ mom’s travel plans and an abundance of caution for care for her injury she is staying with me for the extended weekend. Which is about like having a third cat in the house so I’m excited lol. I do wish I could take her for walks with the nice weather tho.
