Starting to feel better. Had some weird anxiety attack earlier and could hardly breathe. Work day is almost over.

Yeah I’m behind on all ex trials all the way back to shb. I just don’t do them as I had nobody to do them with either. I struggle with even talking about the game around others tbh.

Ok this was not worth it. No wonder it took 13 years to find after the game came out.

Well silverfox is a ghost now with a ghost butt. How embarrassing.

I just can’t get engaged in gameplay only games I think. I played those ever since Atari 2600. They tend to bore me and tire me out. Give me cutscenes with pleasant music and lots of voice acting to break up the action any day in the games I play.

Maybe the reason why I play xiv for example is its emphasis on story, it may be the most boring stream to watch though if I’m not watching cutscenes as I’m just in cosmic exploration crafting for hours. But I’m doing that pretty much for the combat relic items and ultimately for the story.

Yeah I can understand that. Recently I’m watching someone play project zomboid and that’s been fun.

Also please no spoilers for prime 4, not finished with the game yet. But I noticed that everytime samus went back to the base there was optional stay a while and listen dialogue with the federation soldiers. If you follow the story and not check back so often you’ll miss it.

It feels very much like a traditional Pokemon game vs black and white situation I’m told, where black and white was a lot more linear but also controlled the narrative they wanted to tell. Me personally I am really liking this direction of prime 4 but I understand it’s not what everyone wants.

Traditionally when people think of Metroid, they think Super Metroid and want to engage with the map in any order they choose. Want to get the gravity suit early? Well people figured it out. In prime 4, federation soldiers voice acting and characterization, goals, flaws, emphasizing they are people.

Mildly wondering, how many people like stories in their games as a focus? I really love story driven games with actual dialogue and even voice acting. Recently I’m playing ff9 and near the end but also I’m playing Metroid prime 4. I love that they focus on the characters in both games.

Those were on every page aaaaaah >_<the worst strategy guide ever made. The game is wonderful though.

It is though technically it can be beaten at level 1. The levels really don’t matter so much as not attacking unless Ozma is attacking. It changes its tactics depending on what you have equipped.

I tried so many times on ps1 back when it came out and I didn’t understand that the hidden mechanic was that Ozma attacked when you took a turn unless you acted during one of ozmas turns.

After 26 years I finally beat Ozma in ff9, Steiner did the killing blow.

I wish there was more furry movies where they don’t wear pants but still are anthro enough to wear other clothes like shirts. Only got a snippet of that in z2 with the pants optional slums.
