Thought we felt a little jolt

Coming toward the end of the year, and a cold (just a vanilla cold) is in my house. So I guess that means the “let’s get a paper out by Christmas” push is done

UVEX site visit formally complete. Now just have to wait to see if* there government shuts down to figure out what the next steps are.

*how long, I guess

Mostly PDFs. The html versions of published articles (sometimes) have figures re-sized and re-scaled at the whim of the journal, where I can (mostly trust) that the PDF version of the paper is reflective of what the authors are trying to do.

Kind of telling that the first post in my Discover feed is, indeed, cat photos.

NuSTAR got its mixed case spelling well before my time...but yes, wondering if my shift key is broken has been a challenge for the last decade...
