I planted a sweet pea vine on my fence line several years ago, and it has thrived. It was my gateway to learning about all the wonderful native bee species in my area by just quietly observing them... so many adorable itty bitties! I added borage last summer and the bees and wasps were all over it.

I agree... I watched the video and my first question is how would seniors with mobility/ balance issues or the disabled get into that thing?

I can say anecdotally that a friend of mine was referred to a chiropractor (she had never seen one before) & he paralyzed her while 'adjusting' her neck. It was thankfully temporary, but she spent several months learning movement and how to walk again. It's incredibly dangerous.

I guessed that was likely, but thought it worth suggesting.

Since they don't specify other than page count, and you mentioned that you are just over when double spacing, could you replace the word 'and' with an ampersand each time it occurs in your sample to get you there with double spacing? Granted it's pretty unusual, but technically not disallowed.

Yes, I understand... it's just frustrating how much the vibe has been shifted for us without folks clueing in to what's happening. We used to want our tax dollars to fund good stuff for our communities' children.

Yes! When our kid got to high school, she very much wanted to crew, but between the costly gear we were required to pay for, sign-up fees, & the extensive amount of transportation needed, we sadly just couldn't afford that plus all the time off work. When did schools offload all of this to parents?

The takahΔ, a gigantic flightless rail, blue and green plumage with a massive red bill and red legs sporting colored bands.
I said "I love you" to another flightless bird yesterday.
This one was a takahΔ on the predator-free island of Tiritiri Matangi near Auckland.
After finding this bird on the far end of the island, I lay down in the tall grass and waited. After a while he approached closely and lingered.

I agree. "More than" doesn't suggest "most". 51% is "more than" 49% (just). "Most" has generally been used to suggest a larger share than half in my experience. Reading 'most Americans have 3 months worth of savings' conveys something different than 'half of Americans have 3 months worth of savings'

Mercury was only 50 arcminutes (0.8Β°) above a very young waxing crescent Moon this evening. KAS member Pete Mumbower captured this image from his home in Vicksburg, MI.

Photo of a big new moon on the top-left of frame, shot at 500mm, with a red dot in the center of frame (Mercury) and the Griffith Observatory on the bottom-right corner.
Moon and Mercury setting next to the Griffith Observatory just moments ago. Found a good spot to take photos.

Oystercatcher, black and white with a carrot-orange bill and a red eye, flying in front of distant godwits (?? β I don't recall).
Probably the best frame I've shot in at least a year, and I knew it the second I touched the shutter release.
