i'm just thinking about leqaa kordia tonight, the last columbia protestor still held captive by ICE.
she's nice, and funny, and about my age. two judges have ordered her release, but she still languishes.
when she had a seizure this month, ICE kept shackles on her while she was in a hospital bed.
we work on this issue at SPLC!

Khalil has until 6:30pm CT to surrender his passport and other travel documents.
But no formal word of what time he will be released.

Now, Mohsen Mahdawi presents one more chance for all of us in this country to look at each other, and to know this is not what we choose to be part of.
