it’s why those trades HAD to be a commitment to paying a huge tax bill through Ant’s prime. it makes an ownership change midstream a problem, and an ownership change to broke boy owners an absolute nightmare.

the problems with the Rudy trade and the KAT trade are many and well documented, but among the biggest issues is they’ve drained the club of any roster flexibility at all. we don’t have picks, appealing contracts, young assets that aren’t crucial, etc. it’s pay the tax or atrophy. no other moves.

the worst part of the Wolves deal is that the roster situation is such that the two options for the roster are:
