that’s an ai training issue, this is a data ownership issue that i think might resolve itself in the future with more nuanced ToS. and tbh i feel good about our odds that they won’t be using our posts in any promo material or whatever

yeah, just did the math and i’ve been on and off tumblr for about 15 years (which is alarming) and know what you mean. i wasn’t sure how much of it was fandom-specific though and if i’d just shifted somewhere quieter? idk, i haven’t been super active there the past year or so

it really is. other than the fact that it’s harder to be actually social and get to know people there, it is superior by every metric
