QUESTION for those who buy assets:

If you buy an asset and post-download, you strongly suspect it was generated by AI (undisclosed, but I'm pretty sure), how do you proceed?
- Contact the artist for a refund?
- Leave a negative review?
- Report them?
- All of the above? Something else?

ManaWeaver Update:

I've spent a lot of time getting ready for a demo to release next month. The game is so fun to work on and I'm forcing myself to take breaks and vacation. It's so important to do that.

It hasn't been super bad actually now that I think about it. There's been a lot of "this thing you're doing isn't working" kind of stuff.

To be specific, I'm not an artist and sometimes it comes from that.

That's a good suggestion. I do! The ratio is unfortunately pretty bad. Looking at the trailer release, I got 4 positive and about 16 negatives across all sites and in person.

I got a lot of negative feedback on reddit, which ... any engagement is good right? 😅

But mostly it's been the lack of response that's the hardest. The feeling of discouragement is pretty real.
