Ask-ee, myself.

Personally, *that* pronunciation guide feels to me like it'd give you a bit of a weird accent for that word...

Took me a minute to realize that the bottom row is a separate scene with a separate automaton.

Now I'm curious just how many people have this spell...

As it turns out, I have two rolls of the red cord, one "dark cream", and one white.

Should make a nice project bag of some sort, but "how" is the question.

Crochet isn't all that sturdy, after all. Maybe I could crochet over something to stiffen it? Also, there is a way to make corners sharper.

On the positive side, I've learned that the needle portion of circular needles only need to be long enough for them to be easy enough for me to use.

Here, circulars have been far easier to use than straight ones, what with just how much material dangles off them. Definitely a useful experience.

Did more work on this at Sunday's library today. It's definitely edging ever so slowly towards the end!

Also, I did try to switch back to straight needles again, but it's still too early for just yet. Though it also might be an issue with long, straight needles versus shorter circular ones.

Fortunately, I have *just* found the URL to allow the Arduino development environment to install the software necessary to build PocketStar software:

github.com/pocuter/Ardu...

Though I haven't started to try writing any code for it yet. Plus, images still need to be converted to a usable format…

Problem is, the company has died, so the URL I'm supposed to add to the Arduino IDE so I can compile programs for this device doesn't work anymore. I have the raw files, of course, but you just can't install board support that way. A huge, HUGE flaw in the Arduino system.

The included apps and games measure less than 1MB total, so on even a 2GB MicroSD card there's LOADS of room left. Maybe for a Myst clone? Or similarly image-intensive game.

Granted, it really is a bit TOO small, so I'm not sure how easy it'd be to see without reading glasses.
(no I'm NOT old!)

A tiny retro gaming device labelled "PocketStar", with a directional pad (D-Pad) and A and B buttons, with a power button on top.

It's 3cm wide by 5cm tall, so is very small.

I have two of these original PocketStar devices. Much as they are a bit of a fun idea, what I'd bought them for was to write my own apps for it.

Tetris, fun as it is, has a limit...

Given that it runs off a MicroSD card, and those are huge nowadays, there are a few possibilities!

Sigh.

Despite having a more limited amount of "spare" time, YouTube is *desperately* trying to interest me in other channels again.

And despite my repeated demonstrations that I *don't* follow "topics", but "personalities". It's like their algorithm doesn't have any brains at all...

Just a little bit longer, and I'll be able to switch to straight needles for sure! Last time I'd tried, the stitches were SO bunched up, but I've made steady progress since then, so it's not too much longer now!

Though I am panicking just a bit, worried that I'll lose yarn chicken...

Left: After joining the last ball of this yarn.
Right: Before.

Yep, I need the last little bit of yarn. Probably expected, but I'd been hoping.

Also, I'm basically on the final stretch! One colour is covering at *least* two rows, now! Nice! =^.^=

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about these two. *Very* curious to see how the rest of the Cabal reacts to "his" transformation!

Granted, Hero starts out with more of a scimitar and shifts to something more broadsword later, and he does fight with a bunch of magic-wielders, but he does do a fair amount of sword-to-sword combat in there.

A *lot* of nudity and some sex is shown, too, so you're warned.

And a good story!

Evon – A Bear Sorceress, A Warrior Rat, And One Hell Of A Journey

Okay, scratch Codename: Hunter off the list. I wasn't able to find any sword-to-non-magic combat in it, and the swords are used more as a grounding effect for magic cast their way.

Evon Allure, on the other hand (evoncomics.com), despite being close to R-rated in some cases, definitely *does*.

And Tedd's assurance that she hadn't forgotten him. He knows what's important!

It may very well block out, but until that moment, I am very, VERY nervous about this.

I've never knitted anything this large, but I'm regretting having done a square, as that has very, VERY definite dimensional requirements...

Sigh. Yup, I *do* need the other ball of yarn.

And now I'm even MORE concerned about this. Holding the working edge and folding the cable along its length shows my tensions down each side are *very* different.

I found out the Eurogamer YouTube channel hasn't posted anything for over ten days now.

They've basically gutted it.

The absolute end to a lovely era...

I've also attempted to tie it up into a more manageable bundle, but that's really not working very well at all. Will probably just dump it out loose again.

Also, I'm very curious to see when the colour stripes resolves back into solid-width stripes. It'll mean I'm *super* close to done!

Yep. Too early to switch back to straight needles from circulars.

But I *am* getting very, *very* close!

Hence why I'm prioritizing it over other projects for now. Hopefully I can finish it soon. Very curious to see how it feels in use!

Because they merely want to do things without having to think too hard about it.

No pesky rule of law to worry about, because they're (somehow) above it.

This is partly why AI companies have been charging ahead. The number of laws they're outright ignoring is astounding...

No point in even following Eurogamer's YouTube channel anymore, then.

You, Ian, Aoife, and Johnny were all fantastic hosts and I enjoyed watching basically everything you all put out.

Hope you succeed in your future endeavours!
