🎥 Under Highland’s SNP-led council, 53 primary schools and 11 secondaries fall below acceptable standards.

I asked the SNP’s Education minister why, after 18 years of SNP rule in Edinburgh, they’re still failing to deliver safe and efficient learning environments for many Highland pupils and staff?

I’m still shocked that LibDem MSPs sided with the SNP and Alba to block my efforts to put a legal duty on the Scottish Government to end rough sleeping by the end of the decade.

How many more years will “compassionate” Scotland leave vulnerable people to sleep on our streets?

As an islander, I’ve been a proud supporter of the RNLI for as long as I can remember.

🚜 A great few days at the Royal Highland Show. Good to meet up with old friends, new members and stakeholders from across the Highlands and Islands.

Our rural policies announced by @russellfindlay.bsky.social were very well received.

Reform must come clean on how much their candidate is making from renting out land for a large scale energy project the local community opposes.

And whether his company has more land banked for workers camps or similar projects in Scotland.

My thoughts are with all those mourning the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.

May he rest in heavenly peace.

I voted against the SNP's #VisitorLevy and don't want it forced on communities in the Highlands and Islands.

Not even a year since this damaging bill was passed, and the SNP are already having to make this bad legislation slightly less bad.

They should admit they got it wrong.

Nothing too exciting. Just stars. ✨

My thanks to the Scottish Prison Service for taking me around the site of the new HMP Highland in Inverness, and for the visit to the current HMP Inverness which houses prisoners from across my Highlands and Islands region.
