Played and enjoyed. Ended up with a 1-4 record, not bad for a novice. Is #madden26 any good? Yes and no. It's got a good difficulty curve and gameplay is pretty good. the UI continues to be clunky. Too many screens in franchise mode (played off camera). So on field 7/10, off field 4/10.

Been a while since I have played a Madden Game, since I have EA Play. Lets try and win a hardest difficulty game in the last few hours on the trial. Starting on Twitch in 10 minutes. Should have time for 3 full games. #madden26 #nfl - (Only been playing franchise mode so far)

That's a massive gap between those newly promoted and those who are battling for top of prem. It's gonna be a long season.

Next up, I tried Birdigo by @toboggan.work and @johnaugust.bsky.social Terrific cross between Wordle and Balatro. Some runs will go well and some - if you dont adjust will suffer. Love the idea of the migrating birds been the levels and good powerup design.

Next up, I tried the early build of #SlumberRealm by
@chuggagames.bsky.social - an interesting take on dungeon crawling in your dreams. Love the 90s theme and the day/night cycle in the weapons.

Day two, I started with #poolofmadness by @bitgolem.bsky.social - A terrific demo mashing pool with lovecraft. Imagine playing pool but then fish get thrown on the table (how about the gun as your secondary "cue"). Very random very fun - one to wishlist for sure.

Next up, I tried #superlocoworld - Terrific idea and good concept. It scratched that OpenTTD itch. It took me a while to figure on the signals, but once you do - you will be flying.

Next up I tried @thekingiswatching.bsky.social. Tile laying, resource gathering fun in this strategy title. Can be a touch grindy at the start, but had me coming back for more.

Next up I tried Nildigo by @chequered.ink - This minesweeper/sudoku like puzzler had me going back for more. Nice music and devilishly hard puzzles at times.

Definitely worth playing, nice chill vibes and definitely had us trying to find that great run.

- A interesting take on a Card Battler with gems changing the cards and what they do. Very customisable to make your cards ultra defensive or all out attack. Can't wait for its Q4 2025 full release.
