I have a vague sense that I've experienced these feelings before, a long time ago, and now it's back.

I'm watching videos of people celebrating something in New York City, and I feel CONNECTED to them, connected through a light that shoots out of the top of my head and across state lines and connected directly to their joy.

My heart feels big. Bigger than my chest. Bigger than my whole body, like it's expanding around me. My eyes are soft and even a little wet.

Something weird is happening. There's an electric feeling that starts in my stomach, travels up to my chest, and out into my arms. My toes are tingling, like my feet want to MOVE. The corners of my mouth are turned up involuntarily. I feel awake, VERY AWAKE.

Update on this lil bitch. Got her spayed last week and threw her in a very cozy kitty jail. 7 days in and she started breaking out. Now she has free roam of the office.

If I were editing a column about Charlie Kirk’s political genius, I would tell the writer he needed to quote Kirk’s actual political beliefs. If the writer responded that doing so would weaken or distract from his argument, it’d be a pretty good sign that the column was not ready for prime time.
