10/10 would do it again. Though I probably didn't need to go to the top of the hill. I could have just went east as I was on a ship and daggerfall only has a south and east shore.

I can be kinda crazy with that game. Instead of opening the map to fast travel to Gothway Garden I climbed a hill, spotted the shoreline, went there, and followed it down until I found the first city.
I got attacked like 5 times and almost died four of those times. It took 45 minutes of walking.

I like limitations, I prefer my combat to be realistic enough I don't have to engage with the rules to judge an encounter. I actually really like the disco Elysium rules and wanna make my own version. They were going to release it I wonder what happened to that idea.

For me, not really. GURPS specifically the structure makes it easy to ignore the RAW and still feel like GURPS.
But I don't like rules light games because they tend to rely on things I don't like. I can't stand meta-currency. I always forget it when I'm a player and it never adds anything to gming

My favorite system but it really isn't for everyone.
They have a free light version though.
