I see this and it reaffirms what I know about bug fixing; it isn't easy. Given how often NPCs receive fixes it's abundantly clear that the systems interacting with them are complex. There's also the possibility that since it's just ambience that it's not a priority. It certainly hasn't impacted me.

There' something about the SC community that is just wild. This comment was met with anger. I'm well aware of how complex development works, and this game is far more complex than I can understand. People respond to things they don't know about with anger instead of curiosity.

It’s frustrating. I understand it’s still being developed, but damn. There’s just not a reasonable replacement.

I tried Stoat. It's not impressive. Teamspeak not only costs money, but it's what I need either. Genuinely don't know what the plan is for my group.

I might try Stoat, but last I heard it wasn't on iOS? I just don't know. Like clearly the real issue is fascism, but companies embracing and working with that is just disappointing.

I'm really upset about the Discord bullshit because here's been my experience with Root:

- Messaging stuff is fine. It's basically where Discord was back in like 2018.
- Audio is abysmal. 1-2 second delays, crackling, taking many seconds to connect.
- Somehow uses more resources than Discord.

Just watched the trailer for Winds and Wakes and… WERE BACK BABY!! I’ve seen the initial trailer, I won’t be looking up a single other thing besides the release date.

They’ve been a little sparse the last two days but in New Babbage we found them in the Promenade, one just on the floor in the tram area, and in planters at NBIS. In Orison we found them at Cloudview. I hear Area18 is a great place to look, but I had no luck and everything there is red already.
