My baby is a senior, I'm not ready😭

Just closed my Etsy shop for platforming Alligator Alcatraz merch. Absolutely reprehensible and though I haven't listed any of my work there for several years, it's one small stand I can take against fascism.

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.

Their business practices still suck and it's unacceptable that I had to file a case to get what I paid for.

So Crown and Paw finally reached out - filing a dispute with PayPal got their attention, I guess. Got the artwork I ordered which was good and I was able get the prints made.

I reported the problem to PayPal. No response from Crown and Paw. I tried to check the status this morning and my order no longer exists. 🙄
Also, they apparently have an abysmal rating with BBB for taking people's money, not fulfilling orders and unresolved complaints.

I placed an order with @Crownandpaw for custom pet portraits as I ordered from them in the past.
They took my money, never processed my order, no replies to my emails. I commented on their FB, it was deleted- along with any similar ones.

Just watched a massive coyote eating something in the back yard. In broad daylight.

Anyway, in two weeks kiddo moves into his dorm!
Apart from a few odds and ends we got all his supplies. It's very exciting but also I will be missing my baby

Now that kiddo's legal name is changed and we got all his IDs updated, we've begun the college application process. FAFSA is completed.
Also, my baby registered to vote🥹

Work has been kicking my ass HARD so I haven't been here but my kiddo has his legal name change hearing next week and it's such a huge step forward for him!

Today is my birthday & for that day I've drawn a traditional celebratory art. I've always wanted to draw my own version of a Fallen Angel with Kylo & today felt like the right time. As always the best b-day gift for an artist is to share their art, thank you ♡
