I think social media will collapse across the board unless someone comes up with a novel alternative that isn't just a cheap clone of something people are already getting exhausted by tbh. X is a hollow parasocial experience. Bluesky is also a hollow parasocial experience, only smaller and hollower.

Starting writing a new track earlier, and the further I got, the more it started to sound familiar. Then 2/3 into laying down the bass track it clicked: I've just plagiarised one of my own tunes.
Clearly it was so good I had to write it twice.
