my kids aren’t listening to me because I’ve almost completely lost my voice and this teaches me two things:

First, learning sign language needs to get rebooted stat (BSL not baby sign)

Second, I need to do better at giving Mum Looks (though I have eyes like a ren & stimpy character so)

I can hear a mouse in my flat and I'm too poorly to get the (humane) mousetraps out and set up and every time I leave the room I stop being able to hear it and it's so weirdly consuming?!

Because of the National driver register, since their licenses are suspended, trans folks cannot move to another state and get a new license until they remove the suspension on their existing Kansas license.

They can't even escape this by moving to another state.

Learning there's an AI data center being built that is 1/5th of the size of Manhattan and that the centers use so much electricity that they periodically limit how much housing can be built because utilities can't supply the centers and new housing simultaneously might be my joker moment.
