Last weekend we had an alert that a measles case had been out and shopping at local stores. I'm laying low a bit till I get to the pharmacy Tuesday.

It's an easy blood test. It showed I'm good for Mumps and Rubella so I've got that going for me.

If you were vaccinated before 1968, consider a blood test to check for antibodies against measles. I did and found out I had none so I'm getting a new MMR shot.

Generally I subscribe to the belief that if you have to explain a joke that it ain't much of a joke. But I read the explanation and rewatched it with bad subtitles. I support the message and applaud the work. Sadly, it went over the heads of those who needed to hear it most.
