In the past, if there wasn't a Vancouver show, I'd maybe try to visit Seattle for theirs. Just a 3 hour drive from me. However, it's not safe to go to the States. So my ass hasn't crossed the border in a long time.

Organizing literally anything with the fam lately has been ridiculous. I'll ask my husband to see if they all want to make plans together. So he'll ask them & they'll just respond with 'idk what we're doing yet!' Okay, well that's why we're calling. If you don't know, let's maybe make a plan!!!

I'm worried I'm going to be told, sorry can't help you, after all. Then get dropped & let down by the people who promised they would help/support.

It's not a good time.

I emailed my therapist on Thursday about plans we've made (back in July) to help me clean/purge my home, wanting to set these plans more in stone, get it actually going. He usually has a 24hr response policy, but hasn't responded yet. Ofc. My anxiety is going off about there not being followed thru.

My local dispensary is down to their very last single pre rolls right now with the Canada Post strike still going on. I'm all out and need to prioritize money for other, more important things. So this means I'll be trying to go cold turkey for a bit. Wish me luck!! 😬🤞🏻🤞🏻

I've been greatly enjoying watching the Treehouse of Horror episodes of The Simpsons with the fam, this week.

Money's tight (it always is), but I deserve to pat myself on the back a bit for not grabbing any new Samhain decorations during my quick dollar store trip before getting the kids. Phew! It was close!

I can't tell if FB is dying as a social media hub or if I just don't have friends anymore & that has been fucking with my head for a few years now.

Also, my youngest has now gone through 3 water bottles this school year. Guess I have to stop just buying dollar store ones and invest in something more durable for this wild child. Oof!

I'm aware that after school, all kids have this burst of energy & have to let everything they've been holding back all day out, but whatever my oldest does when he's done school is more than that. He acts like a Mogwai you spilled water on. He vibrates with irritation & screeches like a dinosaur.

My biggest pet peeve with a lot of the introductory witchcraft books I've been reading is how they keep putting protection spells at the *very end* of the book as if they aren't the most important before doing any other kind of spellwork and magic. So wild!!
