shelly's rules for thought
1) never trust a bitch with an answer for everything
2) know when to shut the fuck up, hold your tongue, etc.
3) when The Community lashes out at itself, whatever you want to call it, no matter how justified, nevertheless: everybody loses
4) it is inevitable though
5) be a bitch for the right reasons

And it's why some of us did feel a bit defensive when the TwiX exodus started, and we saw peeps coming in declaring the site was 'finally alive'. It had pulsed to its own beat for over a year.

Not if the performance of literally every website and Microsoft product lately is any indication
Most coding is boilerplate or unusual arrangements of business logic. The degree in CS is to be smart enough to avoid NP-complete problems or uncomputable one

but even then with well defined constraints, these systems still fuck up and you're back to bugfixes.
We need people who know how to build shit first, not vibe coders who can't read docs.
I don't trust any shit made by AI that I haven't reviewed and bug fixed which takes longer than just writing shit from scratch. The template thing can be done with an offline model or a single documentation search on GitHub.
Could agents be useful? Maybe, with a shitload of constraints
