At a GOP town hall last night, heckling from constituents was apparently too much to handle—so they used police force and even stun guns on their own constituents. What are they so afraid of? Someone disagreeing with their views?

We just wanted to say amazing work to everyone this weekend—an estimated 200,000 protesters took to the streets. Elon Musk claims that we are “paid” protesters, and many of us are curious about how to sign up to get paid (/s).

I spent the entire day playing the dirt. I smell like a combination of compost, manure, organic fertilizer and sunshine. We got a ton of soil mixed, bags filled, and things potted and hardened to go under the hoop house. Also built a new bamboo trellis for runner beans. It's miller time. Cheers!

There was a teenager at the farmer’s market today wearing a white t-shirt on which he had written “kill your local rapist” with a sharpie. His friend had on that said “inconvenience the rich”.

I hope they go far in life.

Yesterday, I fondly remembered my dear friend Leonard Nimoy, who would have turned 94. His legacy lives on in our hearts. Just days ago, Bill Shatner celebrated his 94th birthday — wishing him continued health and happiness. Live long and prosper, my friends.

A drawer of coffee mugs,
each one a small beginning.

The dishwasher was always broken.
But there were six of us,
and dishes were ours.
She didn’t rest—
she moved through each day
with her hands full.
Teaching,

giving more
than there was time to hold.
