Salvage time: I got this snake hidden under the planter piece back from the kiln fused to its cookie. Not a snakehead in sight, not anymore. So I gold leafed the cookie and restated the shape of the snake coiled around the base with acrylic black paint. When they’re dry, I’ll seal them.

I was planning to do art & pottery how to videos when we got back to Maine to live and have Mae appear & speak with me. Not now,clearly, but whatever dog we have in the future will likely take that spot.

Thanks. I’m feeling more like myself today and finally slept a solid eight hours. I’ll spend part of the afternoon returning phone calls and texts from friends, I think I can do it without crying now. Man, it sucks when loved ones die, human or animal.
