He hit 97.1 today, which is a good sign in that it wasn’t just a “he was feeling extra frisky in his first outing” and it might be sustainable.

First half 2025 stats for a few current Blue Jays’ relievers. Brendon Little leads the way with 1.1 WAR, while Louis Varland, Braydon Fisher and Tyler Rogers follow in order. All four have excellent ERA and peripheral stats as well.

Don’t forget though that he was a borderline all star in 2025 as well.
