Storyteller Academy is hosting a session on how "AI can help you be more creative, not less" and I REALLY expected better of them.

It's just really disappointing how easily some organizations who claim to help creative people have gotten both-sidesy on slop matters.

the secret to knitting is that you don’t actually HAVE to be careful

style is a combination of what you like drawing, what you avoid drawing, and what you’d rather not draw but have to draw anyway so you‘ve figured out shortcuts.

I used to be so frustrated that all the style advice was “don’t worry about it” and “just keep drawing.” I kept thinking “you don’t understand! how can I do that without a style??”

Now I feel like I’ve got more of a handle on my style, and my advice is: don’t worry about it, just keep drawing
