POTUS Obama gave the approval for the killing of Osama Bin Laden, with the seriousness and decorum such action demanded. He ordered the target to be captured if possible first. Bin Laden had been tried & found guilty in absentia by US. courts.
Trump just kills. No court ruling, no death warrant.
