Haven't yet figured out how to keep the grease from smoking the entire house though, lol. I'm baking the chicken on a wire rack inside a baking sheet, so maybe a taller drippings catcher would help by reducing splattering? Been avoiding baking dishes for better aeration for crispiness

I've been experimenting with simplifying the process, and I've found I'm pretty happy with chicken thighs that are merely salted the night before, dried, and then baked at 450F for 30 minutes. Might experiment with adding some spices back to see if they're worth it!

Maybe you won't become some some high level of success by some measure, but that shouldn't be a reason to despair, should it? Even the level of skill and attention you have now would make many jealous, myself included; it's all relative. Even high achievers aren't satisfied, a la hedonic treadmill

I'm sure the "correct" advice is that you should make art for yourself rather than seeking external validation, but I'm not sure how keen you are on that. Next best would be taking satisfaction from the people who have similar tastes to you rather than chasing mass popularity

I think your aesthetic/quality is fine, just have to find ideas that resonate with people! If anything, you said before that your process is slow -- if you can find a way to speed up your process, that might be the other good thing to focus on

That's more or less what I mean -- I really like your aesthetic, but the content doesn't necessarily evoke emotions, at least not in a way that motivates massive reposts, which would drive even more likes and replies. Might be worth exploring different ways you can try evoking emotions in viewers

I feel like I see way more examples of the opposite -- people with really low quality art gaining unbelievably large followings because they make emotion-evoking scenes (e.g., silly doodles, relatable comics) or really intense porn. Meanwhile I often see plain high quality artists go unnoticed

I feel like it's less about the quality of the art and more what's happening in it. For instance, if there was some emotion-evoking scene or story, or if they were super-sexually-charged, they might get more reposts. It's less about "good" and more about "playing the virality game/lottery"

If your motherboard beeps, you can try looking up your motherboard maker's name plus "post beep codes" for clues. Otherwise, you could try removing RAM sticks and booting; faulty or jostled RAM can prevent startup. Anything beyond that (PSU, CPU, mobo) could be pretty involved to troubleshoot
