To be honest plenty of people are running rings around you, and those people are 'followers' of no-one, only of facts, the truth, and a future for us all.

Just can't get his head around that intelligent people are able to use their experience and expertise to assess a situation, a policy, a government, and come to a different answer than the one we are told to believe.

I find the "personality cult" argument against the left always funny. Left leaders actually offer an alternative vision that people can follow if they want. Centrist leaders like Starmer do the exact opposite and are follower because of their personal attributes like 'being able to chair a meeting'.

The thing is - most of us aren't 'Polanski followers' at all, but just engineers, scientists, environmentalists. People who understand the problems AND the solutions.

If your response to our country participating in the bombing of school children starts with "Yeah, but..." your political ideologies are the least of my worries.
