I really can't really imagine a much better GDQ experience. Some of my favorite people are in PSR and I can't wait to see as many of you as possible again in January

Just watched the event recap video, tearing up as usual. Thank you all for such an amazing week. Playing games with friends is probably my favorite thing, so it means so much that no matter which of the almost dozen games I brought to the table over the week, everyone was invested and ready to learn

*five Ice Fangs in four fights

Been enjoying custom starter runs for BDSP except for the fact that I've been crit by four Ice Fangs in three Wake fights. We had to double check it wasn't a high crit rate move

I have zero hard evidence to back this up but calling it now. Victory Road single story will start doing Klawf skip

I've found it gets better but wow is it too slow. I have 0 doubts that my close irl friends actually like me, but I've felt what you said for everyone else at times. Attending GDQs has made it better though since it's harder to have those thoughts about someone asking to get food/hang out with them

Why did they add the Monty Hall problem to Pocket

Treating a writing project as a book instead of a web serial is so nice. It lets me leave a mediocre scene alone with the knowledge that I can go back and fix it later in edits. Compared to before where I would have to deal with it immediately, or else be forced to post it and have it be bad forever

Been working on a new story (original story!!) for a bit over a month. Unfortunately, I'm awful at deciding on what to call things, so both my writing doc and notes are full of <placeholders> instead of names. At this point I think I'm just seeing how long I can keep the bit going

Barrier Blitz was so much fun. Thank you so much to everyone who did a fantastic job on tech and commentary. I had so much fun just hanging out in voice chat with my amazing friends while we were doing runs. I honestly couldn't imagine a more enjoyable speedrunning event

In the next week I've got two boardgame nights, a big speedrun race, and Pathfinder. Getting all my socializing in now before the simultaneous release of Stormlight 5 and Path of Exile 2 causes me to vanish off the face of the earth.

No clue how some stay consistently motivated to write. Just finished off a chapter that I'm really proud of, so I figured I'd maintain that excitement and keep going with the story. Nope. Instead, all my motivation is dead. Opened 4 docs this weekend and couldn't make progress on any of them
