I also often see men being accused of lying about height but I see a lot of women lying about their height too here. Which has led me to believe that many Americans have an interesting perspective of their actual height. Personally I think it’s because they use the imperial system.

Height conversations in the US are always funny to me because the average height of American men is 5’9/ 175cm and in somewhere like the Netherlands where the average is 6’1/ 182cm it’s a non-issue

Though 6’2 is my preferred height. In the medical profession 6ft/180cm is a tall man.
