Yeah the transfers still being $15 is a really dumb component. Shouldn't be expensive to move toons off of a server if it has a garbage community since you would have no idea until you already committed.
If you ever do decide to try again I'd make a new proudmoore toon just to see what its like
There are a lot of stinky servers I agree there- Proudmoore-US isnt perfect but its where all of the LGBT player base migrates and they make it an anti MAGA server for the most part

you can play with friends on other servers! you can play with friends on servers who are cross faction!

I love that one of the prey hunts is a dude raising insurance premiums in Gnomeregan.
I've never even thought of azerothians having to deal with insurance but even they can't escape the crushing system of healthcare!
