Hien Pham draws in a lushly rendered style that alternates between realistic illustrations and simplified cartoons in textured pencil lines. He uses the full spectrum of colors. He is a Southeast Asian cisgender heavyset man with a short, bushy, black beard, fuzzy body hair, and glasses. He is mostly bald on top, with the rest of his hair pulled back into a bun.
Narration: A couple months ago, I was going through a bout of low body confidence.
We see Hien's bare, hairy legs wobbling as they step into shiny, rumpled, yellow garment with wide brown stripes. A bottle of silicone lube rests at his feet. A sheen of sweat rolls down his arms and legs.
"Do I just step into it?" Asks Hien.
From off-panel, a voice replies, "Yep!"
As Hien pulls the tight shorts up his legs and over his groin, the voice encourages him, still from off-panel, saying, "Slide in, push out, pull up." There is a long zipper descending down between the crotch of the shorts.
Narration: My dear friend Bauzer reached out and offered to put me in his spare latex. He hoped it would help with my body image as it always did for him.
"Pull your arm through!" Bauzer's voice suggests, as his hands come in from off-panel to help hoist Hien's shoulder strap, which has partially pinned his arm against his chest.
"Haha!" Laughs Hien. "I'm trying!"
Narration: I'd never worn latex before, so we met up at a local leather and kink social to give it a shot!
For the first time, we see Bauzer's face as he exclaims with pride, "I expected it to look bigger on you, but... that's actually a really good fit!" He is a bearded man with paler skin and reddy cheeks, a short brown beard, and an undercut with his top hair pulled back into a pompadour-mowhawk. He sports a silver ring through his septum, gold plugs in his earlobes, a heavy duty chain around his neck, and a partially transparent yellow latex top with dark grey accent stripes.
He stands both with pride and still a bit of shyness, admiring his fully donned latex suit. "You think so?" He asks. His suit has wide shoulder straps that plunge into a scooped neck jumpsuit, with one long zipper running from the top center of his neckline down beneath his groin. He sparkles in his spotlight, with just a few drops of nervous sweat emanating off his head.
Read the rest on OhJoySexToy.com
As a bigger guy, @hiencomics.com.au always felt out of place in his clothes. But the first time he put on latex, that worry melted away in this material that flexed and moved WITH his body, not against it.

Two-panel sequence. line art. A woman in a t shirt is sweating and smoking. The second panel is the same shot but she has taken the cig out of her mouth and exhaled a jet of smoke. From a story in Lazarus x+66, written by Eric Trautmann & Greg Rucka, drawn by Steve Lieber.
The cover of the book it ran in.
Old art: When you need an extra beat in a panel progression, characters who are smokers come in real handy.

This educational comic from @erikamoen.bsky.social does a wonderful job of showcasing the fascinating biological development of human genitals!
We’re a really cool species with a lot of both fluidity & diversity across our genders & sexes!

Narration: In the years since, I've found a community and a sense of solidarity with friends who've had breast reductions or top surgery.
Present-day Alex sits in their room. They have an undercut with the top half of their hair pulled back in a ponytail. They are bundled up in a blanket as they sit in their computer chair with a tablet in their lap, though they are looking at their open laptop on their desk. A fluffy dog sleeps at the base of the chair. The room has the air of a college dorm with pop culture posters and Christmas tree lights on the wall and various academic and artistic accoutrement over the desk. Their phone and a handheld video game device sit on the desk, along with a coffee mug, while a stuffed bear toy is propped upright on the ground.
Narration: While the process is different for each of us as individuals, there's a comfort that comes with sharing similar scars and surgery stories! My breast reduction was the first step (of many) towards loving my body for what it is: Mine. I don't regret it for one second.

Alex P. Perkins' art is stylized and cartoon-y, using a bright color palette of pinks and oranges. They draw themself with long, straight orange hair, a soft pink skin tone, and an average sized build.
Narration: In the sixth grade, my best friend said to me:
"I don't get why boys aren't all over you!" Colleen, age 13, says to Alex in the hallway of their school. Colleen's long brown hair is styled elegantly, her eyes are lined with expertly applied mascara, and she wears a ruffled choker while her bra strap is exposed by her off-the-shoulder shirt. Alex, in contrast, wears a very baggy t-shirt and their long orange hair is just kind of 'there', not exactly scraggly but definitely not styled. Colleen continues, "You have basically -everything- a guy wants."
Caption: fig. 1 "peaches"
The diagram shows two upside down emoji peaches, pressed together like a bosom. Many arrows and one human hand point at them.
Narration: She pointed to my boobs, for clarity.
Narration: I was as socially awkward as anyone else, but there was still a lot to like about me.
Alex, 13 years old, stands by the row of lockers in their school hallway. They look thoughtful and ill-at-ease as they cross their arms over their chest. Their long, baggy shirt comes past their butt and their flared jeans are decorated with flowers at the cuffs.
Narration (each word is rendered with an artistic flourish to emphasis the meaning): I was creative, kind, fun!
Narration: But from the moment I grew breasts, nothing else mattered.
Two big round balls are supported inside a polka-dotted brassier, which is labeled, "fig.2 "big melons"" Scribbles of distress surround them.
Narration: Girls started rumors. Boys were crude and cruel.
Narration: And then, in the tenth grade, my mom said to me:
On an early cell phone which is oriented horizontally with a full keyboard attached, the mom's text reads, "We can schedule you a consultation for a breast reduction this year."
Only Alex's thumb is visible on the keyboard, and their reaction of "!!!"
Narration: I had waited YEARS for this moment!
Alex clasps their hands to their heart, looking ecstatic. They wear a stripped long-sleeved shirt.
Narration: All I wanted was to be smaller, for people to see ME - before they noticed the size of my chest.
Alex stands in the exact same spot but now wears a dotted hospital gown with their arms down at their sides and looking shell-shocked.
Narration: The consultation itself was less glamorous.
Narration: After a routine physical, we ran through some questions.
A doctor looks in profile down at the clipboard forms he is filling out. He has a stethoscope draped over his neck and sports an old-timey doctor light headband on his forehead.
"Have your breasts finished growing?" The doctor asks.
"yes." Replies Alex.
"Is this negatively impacting your social life?" Continues the doctor.
"Yes!" Agrees Alex.
"Does it restrict your ability to exercise? The doctor says, without looking up.
"YES!!" Alex responds heartily.
Narration: We waited for our insurance to approve, and set a date.
Narration: The day of the surgery, my anesthesiologist was a nice woman with a smile full of braces.
Narration: I was SO nervous.
Alex's hand and forearm is shown resting on the hospital bedsheets with a medical tube taped down and inserted on the back of their hand.
Narration: And then, she said to me:
A woman with a surgical cap covering her hair and her medical mask pulled down to her chin says, "I find that the people who undergo this procedure are ALWAYS the most grateful with the results."
Alex looks small and somewhat shellshocked at this news.
Narration: It felt like an ounce of positivity that I was unused to. Not everyone felt the same way about the procedure as she did.
Alex sits upright in their hospital bed, the tube attached to their hand, with a caption pointing at them declaring, "Me, 16. Very tired." They are surrounded by snippets of jumbled dialogue from speakers we can't see who are asking things along the lines of, "What if people notice? What will you say? How will you explain your scars to your partners? Are you sure about this? What if you worked on your posture? Can't you juts get a better bra? Want to trade boobs, haha, just kidding! Isn't this like getting rid of a gift? Seems like a waste."
Narration: After the surgery, I was ELATED. I couldn't stop catching myself in the mirror and smiling at how much LIGHTER I felt!*
*Specifically, four pounds.
Alex admires their reflection in an upright mirror as they try on a halter top with high-waisted pants. Floating dotted lines denoting the original distance their breasts used to extend past their body.
Narration: I ordered a medium tshirt for the first time!
An orange t-shirt is illustrated with excitement squiggles around it.
Narration: My back pain didn't vanish; but it became easier to manage.
An illustration of Alex's torso with the spine visible is accentuated with pain squiggles and lightning bolts.
Narration: I found out I LIKED running!
Alex's hairy leg and foot is shown in a running shoe, doing just that. Excitement squiggles surround it.
Narration: And I could take a shower without looking down and feeling that sinking stone of DREAD.
Alex takes a blissful shower, singing while they wash their hair with their eyes closed in total contentment.

Erika brushes pastel pigment onto the leaves of the paper seaweed sculpture. Each leaf juts straight out from the stem. The work table is cluttered with craft detritus.
Three photos.
1) A long wire surrounded by large wooden beads that each have their own smaller wire tail.
2) A seaweed made out of paper and wires, each leaf/blade held out at stark, flat angles, like a palm leaf.
3) A seaweed made out of paper that looks like it's undulating under the water. It grows out of a pipe, along with lots of other sea plant life.
What’s a girl to do when she longs to be under the sea but she hates getting her hair wet? SHE MAKES HER OWN SEAWEED FOREST OUT OF CREPE PAPER, ✨obviously✨. Patrons get early access to my madness now, while normies gotta wait until it goes public later.

Panel 1
Wrestling with my Body by Inam, published on ohjoysextoy.com February 16, 2026
Inam draws in an angular, scribbly cartoony style with off-set blocky coloring. She draws herself as a bug-eyed girl in a bat-eared hood. The color palette of the comic are muted mustard yellows, dull oranges, and dusty teals.
Narration: Getting a hypermobility diagnosis really put a lot of things in context for me.
In a physical therapist office's office, the practitioner lifts Inam's arms, which twist into curly-Qs, over her head.
"Whoa." He states at the improbably bent arms while Inam looks forward blankly, not reacting.
Narration: The times my body felt strangely weak...
On a crowded bus, Inam struggles to hold on to a vertical support pole, sweating and trembling with the effort.
Narration: Unpredictable...
Lunging at a ball with her racket on the tennis court, Inam's arm bends at multiple impossible sharp angles. She looks at this oddity with confusion but no pain.
In another setting, a person points downwards and asks Inam, "What are your feet doing?"
The panel pans down to reveal that Inam's feet are pointing in unnatural directions and their left leg is twisted into a spiral.
"I don't know" Inam cries.
Narration: And confusing.
Several objects are scattered across the page: a tube of cream, a packet of pills, a hot water bottle, a roll of sports tape, a set of mini dumbbells, and a teddy bear with a bandage on its ear and holding a big heart that also has a criss-cross of bandaids on it.
Narration: It's been a complicated road figuring out how best to manage it.
Narration: And finding out that my accomomdations are not very sexy to able-bodied people.
Inam enters a bedroom wearing cute, fancy underwear, stockings, a leather collar with an O-ring on it, and sexy librarian glasses. In her hands she carries a first aid kit, a rolled up towel, and her hot water bottle. She looks in surprise at the woman sitting on her bed.
"Oh," The woman says with a little wave. "we don't have to do anything tonight..."
All her sexy accoutrements removed, Inam thinks to herself with a tear, "But... I wanted to...!"
A banner unfurls across the bottom of the page
Inam discovers Play Flighting in their explorations with their disability and desires.
