Incredibly, this feels like a Speed knockoff episode is a couple of years before Speed.

This one looks like it was shot on video? I'm not sure if that's just the state of the rip or it was just easier to use video cameras on an episode with a lot filmed on a real, cramped bus.

most of the staff switchover on No. 1 (just looking at staff listings on wikipedia) happened around ep. 29-32, with the VFX team and a lot of the on-set crew hopping over to Zeztz. so it does look like they leapfrog once the show's established and leave the rest of the season to newer staff

toei's a surprisingly tiny company by headcount and a lot of the work is outsourced outside of the final editing/grading work, which is done in-house by Toei Digital Labs (probs to prevent leaks). ADR and SFX are handled by outside companies

I’m 99% sure they have two production teams so they can overlap production on the shows (I’d think realistically the only way you could do continuous production). Though if I had to guess I imagine some functions will be duplicated

25 years ago today on Kuuga, we must again ask if these cops will ever be able to go back to "You can't just shoot unarmed guys" work.

At the very least, it'd mean either the Gozyuger edit or the new show are in the hands of a less experienced on the franchise B team.

Just had a thought: The producer/head-writer on Sentai change from year to year, but do the post-production team (editors, ADR, effects, ect) stay the same?

Because if they're suddenly having to do last second unexpected work on Gozyuger, that could actually have an effect on The Mystery New Show.
