I was amazed at all she accomplished in her life. Something I forgot to mention is that she was a heroine for the Suffragette Movement, too. They used her as an example of what women could accomplish if given the chance.
So much creativity, strength of purpose, and compassion.

I think he was brave and cool — especially for those times. He had fun and didn’t take himself seriously — yet had talent and charm all over the place. That candelabra!

Yes, it’s one of the bigger ones around here. There’s one a few blocks away from my house that is spectacular in the Fall, and we think of it as ‘the pride of the neighborhood’. It’s carefully shaped in a mound. When it hits peak color, I’ll take a photo of it.

I’m not really a food photographer, though I do take a lot of photos of what I’m making. The only ‘cheat’ I use is trying different angles and distances, and using dishes that complement the food textures and colors. 🤷🏻‍♂️

These are the most graceful trees — all four seasons.

Out West here we have mostly yellows, so the reds really do pop.

It’s spectacular. I look forward to seeing this tree every Fall.
