Reddit post: My friend says dagger are useful on a sword fight. How can I make him understand? Not like parrying. He litteraly says a longsword is slower than a dagger so dagger user can dodge the sword users atack, get close to swordsman and stab him. He thinks he can move like anime characters and dodge multiple "heavy" sword attacks if his armor is light enough. I showed him some greatsword and longsword drills and a lot of video but he still doesn't understand. When he feels like he's losing he says "I don't want to talk this topic with you anymore" or some consent bullshit and gets out of the conversation.
