Thanks, FDA. Food manufacturers have skirted regulations for years, adding unsafe chemicals to food via a convenient no-safety-testing loophole. Another reason why ultra-processed foods should be minimized, even those billed as "natural."

Idaho group seeks clothing donations to help farmworkers during March event The Idaho Organization of Resource Councils urges local participation in a clothing drive to support farmworkers in honor of César Chávez.

Donations will be accepted through March 25 and distributed on March 27. Items most needed: bandanas or scarves, hats and caps, long‑sleeved shirts, gloves, and work boots or rubber boots.

Enormous ground beef recall issued over deadly E. coli contamination risk across three states USDA recalls nearly 23,000 pounds of ground beef over potential E. coli contamination. Products shipped to California, Idaho and Oregon pose health risks.

If you live in California, Idaho, or Oregon, best to not order burgers in restaurants, at least for a while. Ground beef sold in retail and institutional settings has been recalled for potential contamination with E. coli. Nobody wants this.
