Is there a Canada tax you have to pay though? I hate the concept, but NBA players have been known to be babies about coming to Canada, which might mean we always pay more.

I love listening to the Car Talk classic podcast where those two knuckleheads make fun of anyone with a VW bus or classic Beatle and their reliability, when my formative years were that VW was nearly synonymous with Toyota for durability and usually more fun to drive.

That's really good for an 82! The Kia will keep going forever. The change in that brand quality in the last 22 years has been tremendous, similar to Volkswagen going from beaters in the 60's to an almost premium brand by the late 90's. Drove the Kia EV6, just beautiful.

I was born in 81, first car I owned was a 1988 88 olds, which died after 5k km odometer 153k kms then a 96 cirrus for forever, had a leaky gasket, odo 143k km sold for $900, then a Ford Fusion (❤️) 255k km no issues, Honda Ridgeline 189k km no issues, and now a Blazer EV 10k km and counting (❤️).

Michael Porter Jr is a trash human being. I don't care if he's MVP or riding the bench, I don't care how much money he has, he and his brothers are terrible people. One of the reasons I want the Nets getting a beat down every game.

I'm really upset that they're not killing this abysmal Nets team.

Boourns, Alvin might not be Jack Armstrong, but I really like his style in that he praises and criticizes the Raptors fairly. Vince never really says anything. Ian Eagle is good but I'll take Matty Devlin any day.

Always a bad show. I'm 43, I grew up on it, just a bad show like most late 70's through 80's sitcoms. Great intros, bland show. Exceptions like Cheers come to mind.

It's questionable how roomy, when I was 19, some friends had late 70's beaters and my 6'2 36"waist 21" shoulders sometimes felt squat in certain models where you would've thought I'd have oodles of room. Sat in a Ford Fiesta that an employee bought 7 years ago, roomy for my now 6'3 42" waist body.

Totally agree. A year ago, I was perplexed by talking heads saying JP's contract was bad. Yes, escalating kinda sucks, but he wanted to be there, at times seemed like the most important player on the court in terms of driving offense and was clearly a really good center. The back issue changes that.

Absolutely agree. I'm 43, my uncle is 65, we always disagree on vehicles. He contends that cars were better in the 70's, I contend that he enjoyed being a teenager and that was wonderful 1970's cars were highly unreliable compared to vehicles from the early 2000's let alone now.

Totally agree with you. The only concern should be finding players that understand the job is to help develop Cooper Flagg into what he can be. Can't expect Davis or Irving to take that role yet in their careers.

How he treats his teammates and those around him is the most telling vs other international talents like Giannis and Jokic. Giannis wanted MVP, but was never willing to sacrifice the team for it, Jokic just wants to win. I think his reneging on team France was really bad form.
